SHOPPING WITH PURPOSE

FARMS YOU KNOW

Our producers can be trusted to have your health and well-being in mind. They are your neighbors, friends and community members, now just a few clicks away. Accessing all the best local products online is more than just convenient. In a time of increased isolation FarmDrop keeps you safe and connects you to the food economies and relationships that sustain the fabric of community life.

GROW YOUR ECONOMY

With multiple farmers and producers in one online storefront and a paid local market hub manager filling your order, your participation in FarmDrop is building a more resilient food system and community-based network of local solutions.  Shopping this way not only fills your table with the best products your community has to offer any time of year, it strengthens your local economy by keeping money flowing in your community year-round, helping small businesses thrive, creating and sustaining jobs, and supporting and elevating local nonprofit missions.

PROFIT SHARING MISSION

FarmDrop can be a tool for nonprofits to generate unrestricted funding to better support their mission. FarmDrop partners with food security organizations dedicated to food rescue, such as Healthy Acadia and the Downeast Gleaning Initiative. If there is a nonprofit in your community that might benefit from a donations page on FarmDrop we are excited to stand with the causes that matter to you.
